PRE TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

  • SUN EXPOSURE

Limit your sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for at least two weeks before your Enzyme Treatnent. Sunburned or heavily tan skin is not suitable for a skin pen treatment.

It is required to wear a physical sunblock of at least SPF 30 daily to protect your skin.

  • Acid products

Stop using any retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other exfoliating products for at least 5 days before your enzyme treatment. These products can increase skin sensitivity and increase risk of irritation.

  • Avoid NSAIDS

Avoid taking blood thinning medication, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or certain, herbal supplements, like fish oil. These medication's can increase the risk of bruising or bleeding during your treatment.

    Tylenol is Okay.

  • home care

It may be required to follow a specific home care treatment regimen and use recommended products prior to your skin pen treatment.

A customized regimen is designed to prepare the skin for the procedure and maximize its benefits. Using specific home care treatment products helps to condition the skin, making it more receptive to the procedure.

  • Hydrate

Maintain good hydration by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your chemical peel. Hydrated skin is better able to tolerate the treatment.

  • Avoid Make-up

If possible, please arrive with a makeup-free and clean face. This means removing all traces of makeup, including foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, and mascara.

POST TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

  • sun Exposure

Avoid direct sunlight, and protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays by staying indoors, and wearing a broad-spectrum physical sunscreen with only the active ingredients Zinc and/or titanium of at least SPF 30 for 72 hours.

Sun exposure can reverse results and increase the risk of complications.

  • Home Care

Following a specific home care regimen is the most important post care instruction. Your skin care specialist will customize a treatment protocol for you to use at home to maximize your results and achieve your goals.

  • moisturize

Keep your skin hydrated by applying a moisturizer recommended by your aesthetician. This helps prevent dryness and promotes healing.

It is recommended to only use Products that are recommended by your aesthetician, as various home options can change the pH of your treatment and neutralize your results.

  • avoid exfoliants

Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser recommended by your aesthetician. Avoid using harsh or abrasive products that can irritate the skin.

Refrain from using exfoliating products, retinoids, glycolic, salicylic or any other potential, irritating skin care products for 5 days.

  • Avoid Heat

Avoid heat and excessive sweating, hot showers, saunas, steam, rooms, and strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours after your treatment. Heat and sweating can increase inflammation and potentially disrupt the healing process.

  • Hydrate

Drinking plenty of water after a skin pen treatment is essential for optimal healing and recovery. Water plays a crucial role in maintaining skins hydration and promoting the elimination of toxins from the body.

  • don't touch

Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at the treated area to prevent infection and promote proper healing. Let the skin naturally exfoliate without interference.

  • AVOID MAKE-UP

It is in best practice to avoid make up for at least five days. The skin has hundreds and thousands of little micro wounds that can absorb bacteria and make-up particles. In order to get the best outcome, we want to protect the skin from all impurities.

  • Schedule follow-up

Attend any scheduled follow up appointments with your provider to monitor your progress and address Any concerns or complications.

It is common to need a series of treatments to achieve the desired goals and results.
