PRE TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

SUN EXPOSURE
Minimize sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for at least two weeks before the treatment to reduce the risk of complications.
It is required to wear a physical sunblock of at least SPF 30 daily to protect your skin.

Acid products
Avoid using any retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other exfoliating products for at least 1 week before your Potenza treatment. These products can increase skin sensitivity, and may interfere with the treatment effectiveness.

STOP MEDICATIONS
Discontinue the use of non-prescription blood thinners, anti-inflammatory medications, and supplements such as fish oil or vitamin E.
Please continue taking any prescription medication's prescribed by your doctor. Be sure to consult with your skin care professional regarding any concerns.

It may be required to follow a specific home care treatment regimen and use recommended products prior to your Potenza treatment.

If possible, please arrive with a makeup-free and clean face. This means removing all traces of makeup, including foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, and mascara.
POST TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

Avoid direct sunlight, and protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays by staying indoors, and wearing a broad-spectrum physical sunscreen with only the active ingredients Zinc and/or titanium of at least SPF 30.
Sun exposure can reverse results and increase the risk of complications.

Keep the area clean, and use a gentle cleanser.
Following a specific home care regimen is the most important post-care instruction. Your skin care specialist will customize a treatment protocol for you to use at home to maximize your results and achieve your goals.

Keep your skin hydrated by applying a moisturizer recommended by your aesthetician. This helps prevent dryness and promotes healing.
It is recommended to only use products that are recommended by your aesthetician, as various home options can change the pH of your treatment and neutralize your results.

Use a gentle cleanser recommended by your aesthetician to cleanse your face, and steer clear of harsh or abrasive products that may irritate your skin.
Additionally, avoid exfoliating products like retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and any mechanical treatments for 7 days.

No Makeup
Refrain from applying makeup for at least 3 days (5 days is ideal) to allow the skin to breath and heal.

Avoid Heat
Avoid heat and excessive sweating, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for at least 5 days or until redness and inflammation is cleared.
Heat and sweating can increase inflammation and potentially disrupt the healing process.

Drinking plenty of water after your Potenza treatmentl is essential for optimal healing and recovery.
