PRE TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

AVOID NSAIDS
Try to avoid NSAIDs before your treatment. These medication's can thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site. Tylenol is okay!

AVOID ALCOHOL
It is important to avoid alcohol for at least 24 - 48 hours before your treatment. Alcohol can thin the blood increasing the risk of bruising and swelling at the injection sites.

AVOID HEAT
Avoid heat the day of your treatment is important because exposure to high temperatures, such as saunas or intense exercise, can increase blood flow and sensitivity, potentially leading to more bruising and swelling during your procedure.

Stay Hydrated
Staying hydrated before your appointment is important as it helps maintain skin elasticity and overall health, which can enhance the effectiveness of the treatment and promote a smoother recovery.

Have a snack prior
Having food in your stomach or a snack prior to your treatment is important. It helps prevent potential dizziness or lightheadedness during the procedure, ensuring a more comfortable experience

AVOID SOME SUPPLEMENTS
Steer clear of supplements that can increase bleeding such as Vitamin E, Garlic, Ginko Biloba, and Fish Oil ideally 1 week prior.

SCHEDULE WISELY
Plan the treatment at a time when you can avoid significant social events immediately afterwards, as swelling or bruising may occur

AVOID FACIAL TREATMENTS
Refrain from facials, chemical peels and laser treatments 1 week prior.
POST TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

DO NOT PUCKER UP
No sucking, kissing or blowing for 7 days. This can and will cause filler migration.

AVOID MAKE-UP
To minimize the risk of infection after your treatment, it is advisable to avoid wearing make-up for at least 12 hours

Avoid Heat
It is recommended to avoid heat exposure such as saunas, hot tubs, exercise & sun exposure for at least 72 hours after your treatment to prevent potential complications and ensure optimal results

don't touch
Avoid touching & rubbing your face (unless told otherwise) after your treatment to prevent the risk of spreading the product to unintended areas and ensure the best results by allowing the product to settle properly.

Don't Lay Down
Avoid laying down or bending over for the first few hours after the procedure to reduce swelling and allow the filler to settle properly

ICE
Icing after your treatment is beneficial as it helps reduce bruising and swelling by constricting blood vessels and minimizing inflammation in the targeted areas.

Avoid alcohol
It is important to avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours after your treatment. Alcohol can increase the risk of bruising and swelling by affecting the blood circulation and thinning of the blood

Avoid NSAIDS
Avoiding NSAIDS if possible for at least 7 days. They can increase the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site.

Possible Headache
It is possible to experience a headache for a few days after your treatment due to in the injection process affecting nearby muscles and nerves, which can lead to temporary tension or discomfort.

Hydrate
Staying hydrated after your treatment is beneficial because proper hydration supports overall skin health and can help optimize the healing process, enhancing the results of the procedure.

Home Care
Stick to gentle skincare products for a few days post treatment, avoiding exfoliants, retinoids or strong acids.
