PRE TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

Accutane
Accutane, a medication commonly used for treating severe acne, should not be taken within six weeks prior to your diamond glow facial. This is because Accutane can increase skin sensitivity, which may lead to potential negative outcomes after your facial. It is important to follow this guideline to ensure the best results and avoid any adverse reactions to your skin.

SUN EXPOSURE
Limit your sun exposure and tanning bed sessions for at least one week prior to your diamond glow facial. Sunburned or overly sensitive skin may hinder the effectiveness of the treatment and increase the risk of post-treatment complications.
It is recommended to wear is SPF 30 daily to protect your skin.

Avoid Make-up
Please arrive with a clean and make up free face. Makeup removal can take valuable time away from the procedure.
This allows the diamond glow facial to penetrate deeply into your skin and deliver optimal results.

Acid products
Avoid the following products 3 days prior to your Diamond Glow facial treatment
Retinol
Retinoids
Glycolic Acid
Salicylic Acid,
Lactic Acid
Other Anti-Aging Acids
These ingredients have the potential to increase skin sensitivity, which can interfere with the effectiveness and comfort of the treatment. Contact Lenses
It is recommended to remove contact lenses prior to the treatment. Although, not mandatory, this helps to minimize any potential discomfort or irritation that may occur during the facial.
If you forget, or are unable to remove them, rest assured that our skilled providers can still perform the treatment safely.

POST TREATMENT INTRUCTIONS

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from within. This helps maintain the results of the diamond glow facial and promotes overall skin health

Try to avoid touching your face excessively with your hands, as this can introduce bacteria and irritate your skin. If you need to apply any products or touch your face, make sure your hands are clean.

Moisturize your skin regularly to keep it hydrated and nourished. Opt for gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizers to avoid clogging your pores.

Protect your skin from direct sun exposure immediately after your facial. The treatment may make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so it's crucial to wear sunscreen with a high SPF and limit some exposure for at least 24 - 48 hours post-treatment. Wearing SPF daily will also protect your investment

Refrain from using any harsh skincare, products such as exfoliants or retinoids, for at least 24-48 hours after your diamond glow facial. These products can further, irritate your skin, which may be more sensitive after your treatment.
